JetHawks’ Brad Correll Earns California
League
Player of the Week Honors
Saturday’s four home run performance
leads to weekly league award

(LANCASTER, CA) – JetHawks outfielder
Brad Correll’s California League-tying
four home run performance on Saturday,
June 23 almost single-handedly earned
him the league’s Player of the Week
award for June 18-June 24. This marks
the fourth time this season a JetHawks
player has taken the honor.
The 26-year old outfielder recently
joined the JetHawks after being signed
by the Boston organization out of the
independent Northern League and has
played just seven games with the club.
This honor recognizes the time span of
Correll’s first homestand as a JetHawks
player after having his contract sold to
the Red Sox by the independent Kansas
City T-Bones. Correll has already hit
seven home runs with his new team.
For the week, Correll hit a whopping
.429 (6-14) with six home runs, one
double and ten runs driven in. Eight of
those RBI came during the four home run
game, breaking a JetHawks franchise
record.
Prior to Correll’s honor, outfielder
Bubba Bell had won the award twice and
first baseman Aaron Bates once. Former
JetHawks infielder Brian Barden won this
week’s AAA Pacific Coast League’s honor
by hitting .652 with two home runs and
eleven RBI for the week.
"Phoenix rocks! I
have been working with Tatum and Lisa for a couple
of years now and they have totally changed the way I
prepare myself for the season. I focus more on core
strength and explosiveness and it has really
improved my performance. This years I was with
Florida Marlins during spring training, we did
performance and conditioning testing. Out of
100 guys I scored third overall, the best I have
ever scored. Thanks Phoenix!

"I have been quite pleased with the wonderful
massages I have received from Abe. I've been seeing
him for over nine months now, and I have not had a
bad experience. He is a great listener, so he is
able to address my specific needs that change almost
every time I have an appointment. Abe is able to
tailor the massage to my immediate needs or
requests. My physical progress has improved; sitting
at a desk for several hours a day causes great pain,
but Abe helps to naturally remove the hurt without
any medication. I certainly recommend his services;
he creates a comfortable and safe environment for
his clients."

"A few weeks ago I injured my shoulder. I was
lifting a load of sand and it slipped. I heard a slight pop in my shoulder as we all have
heard and then I heard a loud crunch, which I had never heard. I knew
Phoenix was a new physical therapy facility in the Denver area because I had heard
of their Golf Performance program, and I had
intended to investigate that
program so I went to see if they could help my
shoulder.
"They were very thorough in my work-up and explained
exactly what had
happened and how they would treat my injury.
They went into great detail explaining how each exercise was performed and what it did for the muscles around my shoulder. We have used noodles (long tubes used in
the water), rubber tubing, and now we are starting to use some of the many
exercise machines."
I highly recommend Phoenix. I think you will
be impressed with their
knowledge. Everyone on their staff is very
friendly and go out of
their way to make you feel at home and completely at ease. The best
way to say it is “You are in good hands at Phoenix”.

Sierra Stallings, USSSA12U D2
National Champion
"Hi Lisa, this is Kim Stallings, Sierra's mom. I
just thought you would like to know that Sierra's
basketball team, the Stars, went and won the
National Championship for the second year in a row.
They are the USSSA12U D2 National Champions. I would
like to thank you for all you have done for Sierra
this past year. She has always been a good athlete,
especially in basketball but your program helped her
get to the next level. Several people, that did
not know she had been going to a trainer, commented
on how much stronger, quicker and more aggressive
she was this year. We will be back for her to
continue with your program but will probably wait
until after all of her school sports are over."
