A native of Denver, NC and former East Lincoln High School baseball and basketball player, Jonathan joined Phoenix Physical Therapy & Sports Performance full time in 2007. His education background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Liberty University followed by a degree from Central Piedmont Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant Program. During his years of employment at Phoenix Physical Therapy, he has been involved in all aspects of patient and athlete care and has continued education in golf performance healthcare instruction, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF), manual therapy, Kinesiotaping and soft-tissue mobilization techniques.
Jonathan has also completed the Titleist Golf Performance Institute (TPI) Certification of Golf Fitness and Movement Analysis as well as the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has been instrumental in the success of the area's best athletes having help numerous Division 1 Golfers, developed strength and conditioning programs for Davidson College Women's Basketball, North Lincoln High School Football, East Lincoln High School Basketball and Davidson Day Football, in addition to training some of the area top golfers.
